Hey y'all, I'm Allie!

I'm a professional photographer currently working freelance, based in North Carolina. I specialize in sports and travel, but also photograph events, portraits, and more! I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Sports & Entertainment Management and a Business Administration Minor.

My love for photography started as far back as I can remember. I would use whatever type of camera I had at the time to take photos of anything and everything around me (and I still do to this day). Sports have also always had a significant role in my life and something I have consistently been involved in, one way or another. Growing up in an ice rink as a competitive figure skater and part of a hockey family, when I decided to pursue photography as a career rather than just a hobby, it was only natural for me to start there - the intersection of two of the things I loved most. But that was just the beginning.

Since then, I have had the honor of photographing a vast array of sports, leagues, and organizations. Some of the sports covered include hockey, football, soccer, rugby, basketball, baseball, golf, gymnastics, track & field, whitewater kayaking, mountain bike racing, etc. and I'm always adding more! I have also covered events and corporate projects for organizations both within, and outside of, sports.

My goal through photography is to not only capture the exciting action and big celebrations, but also the behind the scenes, moments of preparation, small details in between... all to tell the full story of a sport, an organization, it's athletes, and it's community. I aim to create something meaningful and impactful, and to bring the experience right into the hands and homes of the viewer. With a marketing/social media and journalism background, I can easily tailor content deliverables to fit the needs of any organization, including social media, partnerships, editorial publication, website, advertisements, branding, and much more.
